Our Transition Year programme promotes the personal, social, educational and vocational development of the students. It provides them with an opportunity to mature and become more participative and responsible members of society.
During the year the students are encouraged to discover their own talents and abilities whilst developing skills and competencies within a well-defined academic structure. Transition Year Co-ordinator is Mr John Ryan.
This compulsory year provides the students with the following opportunities:

Participate in a two-week exchange programme to Bordeaux in France
Attend speakers and courses through out the year specially selected with the students’ personal, social and vocational development in mind.
Go on activity trips for a number of nights to outdoor education centres where students got an opportunity to bond and develop socially.
