Technical Graphics is a Junior Certificate course which involves students in the development of the range of skills associated with the solving spatial problems and using drawings to communication ideas and solutions.
The draft specifications for the new Technical Graphics Junior cycle course has recently been published. This means that the students in 1st year September 2019 will be the first to take on the new course. There will be two CBA’s (classroom based assessments), one in second year and one in third year.
The final assessment is then broken down into two elements; a project worth 30% and a written exam worth 70%.
