De La Salle Places High on "league Tables"

Albeit a very narrow measure of a school's quality, it is nevertheless gratifying to see De la Salle ranked amongst Cork's academic elite in the "league tables" published in the national media today. With 98% of last year's graduates going on to Third Level education, the school was in eighth place in the Cork city and county list....

Loss for the U-15's

Our U-15 footballers suffered a 4-3 to 1-15 loss against Abbey CBS from Tipperary in Glanworth today in the second round of the Munster B championship.

On the basis of his Junior Cert science and maths results, Colm O'Riordan from Transition Year has been invited to take part in trials for the Irish Science Olympiad team. These take place in DCU on Saturday next and we wish him the best of luck!

Defeat for Footballers:

Simcox Success:

A comfortable 2-16 to 3-3 victory over Rochestown College today sees the school through to yet another semi-final of the Simcox Cup. Our opponents will be Clonakilty Community College.
